It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas — which means it’s time to plan this year’s Santa photo! Whether you love a traditional shopping-centre setup, prefer a sun-kissed beach backdrop, or want something more creative and relaxed, Sydney has a magical mix of options in 2025.

I’ve rounded up a comprehensive list of Santa photos across Sydney from pet-friendly sessions and sensory-friendly mornings to stunning boutique studios and beachfront shoots. So grab your festive outfits, round up the family, and make a memory that’ll last long after the tinsel’s packed away.

Cronulla RSL (by Santa Pics Sydney) – 29 Nov to 24 Dec 2025. Cronulla. From $79. Festive “mini‐photography” session with Santa themed “Baking Memories with Santa” — Santa cooking in the kitchen, fun props, matching family aprons or tops. Pet‐friendly: bring furry friends along for the photo. Includes approx 20–25 digital images delivered. $5 from each booking goes to charity (retired military working dogs).

David Jones – 6 November until 24 December 2025. CBD store only. From $49.95. Santa photo experience with multiple package options, including standard sessions, “Pawtraits” for pets, and “Sensitive Santa” sessions for children who prefer quieter environments. You also get a complimentary Santa hat and your photo presented in a custom sleeve.

J Roberts Photography – Selected dates from 9 Nov to 23 Dec 2035. Long Reef Beach, Northern Beaches. From $85 for a 5-minute session. A relaxed beachside Santa photo session in a distinctive Aussie setting — sand, surf and sunshine instead of a mall. Ideal for families seeking something more laid-back and memorable. Bring the kids (and maybe the dog) for a sunlit spot with Santa by the sea.

LC PHOTO – Selected dates during November – December 2025. Penrith. From $99 for an express 5-minute session. Studio-based festive photo sessions with a range of options — Santa Only, Santa & Mrs Claus, No Santa – family only, the Grinch and Sensitive Sessions for children with additional sensory needs. Let’s SEA Santa –  Only 6 Dec 2025 available at this stage. Turimetta Beach. $110. Original beachside Santa photo experience in Sydney. Santa in the City – 23 Nov to 24 Dec 2025. Sydney CBD. Santa Claus once again makes his grand return to the heart of the city. With his sleigh freshly polished and reindeer ready for take-off, Santa will soon take his place beside the iconic Martin Place Christmas tree—the centrepiece of Sydney’s festive celebrations.

Santa in the Garden – Weekends in December. Ku‑ring‑gai Wildflower Garden.  Outdoor bushland setting photo with Santa, offering a more nature-based backdrop rather than a shopping centre.

Santa in the Paddock — Selected dates in November 2025. Arcadia. From $249 for a reindeer session. Unique experience with real reindeer rather than Santa; quiet, rustic setting; ideal for families wanting something different.

The Enchanted Trove – From 1 Nov to 21 Dec. Campbelltown. From $195. Professional photography studio with Santa, a Christmas fairy and elves. There are two themes this year – Land of Sweets’ and ‘Whimsical Wonderland’. 

The Grounds of Alexandria – 22 Oct to 23 Dec 2025. Alexandria. $70. Santa’s trading red for runway-ready and checking into The Grounds of Alexandria this Christmas! Their festive set-up has a fun tartan twist this year, with holiday charm woven into every detail … and a little magic stitched in for good measure. For those who like a little extra magic, Santa is staying late for a limited number of evening sessions – a chance to experience the season in a whole new way. They always sell out quickly!

Wundrful World of Christmas – 1 Nov – 24 Dec 2025. Sydney CBD. From $37.50 for Adults and $27.50 for Children. This isn’t just a Santa photo session. It’s a magical, mixed-reality walk-through experience to meet Santa and his elves. Your journey will be guided by a cast of animated characters and real-life actors. Start your adventure in the Wundr Lift, where your trusty elf pilot will transport you on a magical ride to the snow-filled North. Wander through the Enchanted Forest and try your hand at snowballing! Learn from the busy elves how Santa’s workshop works — and become a trainee elf! Savour the delicious treats a jovial Mrs Claus is cooking up. Settle into Santa’s cosy cottage to hear his story, before heading to the North Pole Post Office for a photo with the Big Man himself!
